Natasha Barnes: Operations Manager, Design & General Researcher, Technical Projects Coordinator/Facilitator
Education & Experience…
Natasha earned a B.A degree from Reed College, Portland, OR in 2012 following her undergraduate work at St. John’s College, Santa Fe, NM. Her thesis topic, “Dislocation and Domestic Space in Three Novels by Elizabeth Bowen” was inspired by her interest in space and design. She continued her artistic pursuits at Marylhurst University, Lake Oswego, OR from 2013-2017, where she also served as a student design materials library manager. Her studies included all aspects of interior design: space planning, the history of architecture, interiors and furniture, and design technology. Beyond her education, her further interests include a study of textiles as they relate to historic and other interiors.
Natasha's exemplary organizational and technological skills are well suited to complicated valuation and related projects that include large inventories and artists' estates. A varied and strong interest in furniture and object design suits her well for the object and contents research she does. Natasha has been affiliated with Appraisal Resource Associates since 2021 where she is Operations Manager.
